GET A LOAD OF THIS GUY
I started taking pictures in 2018 when an ice storm shut the whole city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana down. After we got the email that LSU’s campus would be closed the next day, I drove to my buddy’s house, whipped out her laser lights, recruited her roommate who vaped - for the smoke effect - and got to work.
I didn’t even want to be a photographer back then. I was in film school, and thought it would be good practice with a camera. Flash forward, and it’s my full time job, though I think the pictures are a little better these days.
I now live in Chicago where I have the pleasure of photographing independent artists, using my skills to amplify the visibility of the little guy. Like a magnifying glass on bugs. There are so many pepole who deserve to be seen, and I like to be the one to help show them to the world.
